Lucy is my Fanny daughter by Ch Kismet's Talisman "Seth" who is full brother to Lottie's sire Ch Kismet's Justin. That makes Lucy and Lottie almost full sisters with only one name difference in their pedigrees. These two Fanny daughters carry on in my breeding program and form the two branches of Lockehill. All my shelties come down through one or the other of the two. Lucy like her mother Fanny produced two significant daughters, Daisy and Diedra who are siblings by Ch Chosen Dedication II.

In 2007 I was able to begin blending the two branches when I bred Lucy's daughter Daisy to Ch Atwater Honorably Chosen " Hammie" who comes down from Lottie. The result was a singleton pup Layla who now Gch Ch Lockehill Le Premire Pas. This combination has continued with breedings to Ch Prairie Chosen Legacy "Rob" who also is tail female to Lottie, to my Lockehill Chosen Gabriella a Daisy daughter.

Below is Lucy and and her Champion daughter Diedra. Ch Lockehill Chosen Delight "Diedra" has two show daughters sired by Ch Stonerhaven Samurai. Now Ch Chosen Samurai's Delight took Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Breed for a big five point major at seven months old at the Alamo Area Shetland Sheepdog 2008 Specialty (see picture below). The following month her litter sister now Champion Kismet's Chosen One took a four point major for Sheryl and Danny Kendrick at the Austin Specialty. The girls split the majors at the Dallas Specialty this Fall 2008.

Barbara repeated the breeding November 2008 resulting in six quality pups. The three boys are too big but the three girls are in size. Barbara has a pretty girl "Iffy" Chosen If Dreams Come True and Guy Mauldin has the pick girl "Kismet"(we knew he would pick her), and I have Chosen Lockehill Carrie On "Carrie" as my pick. All three look to be following in their sister's pawsteps but unfortunately Kismet went over and was placed.
