Lockehills Careless PleasureFanny”
Fanny
(Ch Elbereth A Treasure Found ex Stonehill Double Ur Pleasure)
April 20, 1994 ~ September 20, 2006
All of the Lockehill shelties that I am now working with come down from Fanny.  Her pups are lovely but a good number have gone oversize.  She has gifted Lockehill Shelties with great temperments, lots of coat and a very definite expression that comes down generation after generation.   Fanny was not shown because of her low ears, a fault she very seldom passed on to her children.

Fanny had four pointed offspring but the best were her daughters Ch Lockehill Careless Carlotta and Lockehill Careless Lucinda both of whom produced champions and breed on in my program. Her daughter Lockehill Prairie Pizzaz who went to Jackie Geister and is behind Jackie and Donna Sammon's current shelties.

Ch Kismet's Justin x Fanny

Lottie is the best of my shelties.  Pointed from the puppy class, she tipped the wicket for a while and I did not show her until she settled back to 15 3/4" at maturity.    Lottie took a Specialty Major under Tom Coen and finished shown by Allana Hemenway. Lottie is quite a producer.  I have two champion daughters, Lillie and Belle from her first litter.  Lottie's son Kahlua, from her second litter finished with three Specialty majors at eighteen months old!

Lockehill Careless Lucinda "Lucy"
Ch Kismet's Talisman II, ROM x Fanny

Lucy shown here as a yearling taking her first point, a Best of Breed, with Allana Hemenway showing. Unfortunately she slipped over the size limit and was not show after that. Lucy stayed home and produced some lovely pups like her mother Fanny whom she is most like under the skin!.

Her daughter "Emma", Lockehill Romancing T' Stone has a pointed daughter for Classic Shelties.  Lucy's second litter By Ch Chosen Dedication II gave me two nice girls.Lockehill Dedicated To Love, CGC "Daisy" is co-owned with Barbara Wright and Ch Lockehill Chosen Delight "Dedra" sold to and finished by Barbara Wright of Chosen Shelties. Lucy is now retrired.

Below is Lucy and and her Champion daughter Dedra. Ch Lockehill Chosen Delight "Dedra" has two show daughters from her last litter. Chosen Samurai's Delight took Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Breed for a big five point major at seven months old at the Alamo Area Shetland Sheepdog 2008 Specialty. The following month her litter sister Kismet's Chosen One took a five point major at the Austin Specialty.

Leroy(AKA Dante), picture below, is typical of Fanny's babies. Really pretty faces, lots of coat and attitude.   He is pictured at 8-12-19 weeks of age.   Size has always been a problem with so many going over as did Leroy!   The only thing Leroy won was the Virtual Sheltie Show and my daughter Donna's heart! Leroy is Lottie's littermate.

Princessa who went oversize and Roxie "Lockehill Prairie Pizzaz" the pup to the far right, owned by Jackie Geister of Prairie Shelties, has proven to be a valuable brood bitch. Roxie only produced two litters for Jackie before having to be spayed but she or her sister Lottie are behind most of Jackies show shelties.
