Lottie started her show career as a pup handled by Sandy Staffan, She picked up her first two points, a Best of Breed, and Group 4 Placement her first time out at the tender age of 8 months!  She then picked up a Best of Opposite and some reserves before she tipped the wicket.  Lottie came home to me to mature.  At 15 3/4" I took her back out and took another reserve and a Best of Opposite over a special.  She was bred to CH O'Davak Justice Prevails and had eight bitches born on November 11, 1999.  Three pups were pointed from the puppy class, see them below at their first show.  Her daughter Lillie finished Spring 2002 and Belle finished in the fall.  A third daughter, Megan took the open sable class at the Baytown Specialty each day under Tom and Nioma Coen.  I regret that I did not get Megan finished as she was a quality bitch. She is is behind the sables at Rimrock Shelties. A fourth daughter Emily went to Jackie Geister of Prairie Shelties and is the granddam of Ch Prairie Chosen Legacy "Rob" who I am now using in my breed program. Rob allows me to double tail female to Lottie and has produced four show pups from his first two litters when bred back on Lockehill bitches.

Lottie died very suddenly on Feburary 15, 2010 of an apparent stroke. She had been in excellent health, blood work great and she never missed a meal until the morning of her death...hope my end is so great. At twelve years old, I never saw her as "Old"... she had a great life and a huge impact on my breeding program. There are seven champions decended from lottie and many more with major and minor points.

Lottie's second litter produced Ch Lockehill Special Edition giving her a third champion and the distinction of being a "bitch of significance".
