    Megan at ten weeks........ a lovely puppy

    I purchased Megan from Margaret Locke of Lockehill Shelties when she was ten weeks old. Such a pretty pup with lots of promise. Margaret kept two of her littermates both of whom finished their championships in 2002.  Megan as you can see from the following photos, matured slowly into a very promising young lady.

    At seven months old her beauty was evident but her body was still immature.   I decided to wait on her conformation career and bred her as a two year old to Ch Gordon Jade Mist Next Edition...the result is Rimrock Candy Kisses.


    Megan at three years........ a stunning adult

    Megan now fully mature started her quest to be the third in her litter to finish.  She was shown at the Spring 2003 Specialty shows and won the large Open Sable Class under Tom and Nioma Coen and was never out of the ribbons, two reserves and then her first point, a Best of Breed over several major pointed shelties.   Megan took winners two more times and then she did what all shelties do when they are doing well, she blew COAT!
