A Heartfelt Welcome to our New Members

At the end of Sunday morning service, members were able to welcome and greet into our church family, Jeff and Jennifer Harvey along with their sons, Blaine and Brett. On March 19th Blaine and Brett were both baptized by Rev. Paul using water from both the Jordan and Guadalupe Rivers.

PALM SUNDAY Rev. Paul Smith, Cynthia and Dwight MacAllister provided palms and decorated the sanctuary.

OUR 2011 SENIORS

Jayla Janelle Finch

During my years in high school, I was in band, athletics, Anchor club, future Scientists, Interact Club, Mu Alpha theta (our school math club, and National Honor Society. My high school years, especially my senior one, were incredible and have created many memories that I will always keep close to my heart. I have my amazing friends and family to thank for those wonderful four years. After graduating, I plan to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio to be a dental hygienist. In my spare time I love hanging out with my family and friends, playing tennis, supporting our Apaches, spending time outdoors, and most of all, keeping my faith strong worshipping our Lord.

Jayla's parents are Jan and Kell Finch. Her grandparents are J.B. and Lucille Lester, the late Joy Lynn Lester, and Jack and Janye Finch.

William Henry Meador

William Henry has been attending the Monthalia Methodist Church since he and his family moved to Cost when he was 2 years old. After graduation from Gonzales High School he will attend Blinn Junior college in College Station with plans to transfer to Texas State University to major in International studies. He looks forward to a career that involves excitement and travel. Will is a member of the Gonzales Anchor club, FFA and the golf team. When he is not at school, he works for Graham Land and Cattle Company.

Will's parents are John and Tanya Meador. His grandparents are Bill and June Carlson and Wallace and Jean Meador.

30th Wedding Anniversary

Celebration

The Sanctuary was filled with family and friends on Saturday, April 2nd as Rev. Paul Beard officiated in the ceremony of renewing the wedding vows of Rev. Paul and Karen on their 30th wedding anniversary. Their children, Nathan, Aubrey, Dewey and Barrett, provided this wonderful day of celebration.

Come and Play

The Evangelism Outreach Committee is sponsoring a monthly "Game Afternoon" in the

Fellowship Hall for ladies In the community. There will be various games to play such as

"42", Chicken Foot, Dominoes, Attack Uno, Flinch or any other fun game to play.

This game day is scheduled for the Thursday of each month at 2 pm.

Every lady in the community is welcome to "Come and Play"
