When SJRC Texas, formally known as St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, had some chores to get done they knew they could count on The GVTC Foundation for help.

Twenty GVTC employees spent part of their lunch hour doing anything requested by the SJRC staff. Some of the work included raking the playground area, sorting and packing away extra clothing, cleaning the recreation room and a lot more.

“We would like to thank The GVTC Foundation for taking their time to help beautify our campus; we appreciate all that you do,” Kyana Beres, SJRC development coordinator. “Volunteering is very important for SJRC Texas because it truly takes a village to raise our children.”

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children - Texas (SJRC) cares for children and families who have been affected by trauma, abuse and neglect. The organization offers a safe haven, along with help and hope to begin the journey of healing. SJRC Texas cares for close to 100 children each day from the Greater San Antonio and surrounding area.
