GVTC's Friends & Family Referral Program

GVTC Friends & Family Referral program is limited to active GVTC customers with accounts in good credit standing. Customer accounts disconnected for non-payment or customers with a past due balance are not eligible to participate in the program. Customers which pay for qualified products or services with taxpayer dollars or government funding/grants/reimbursement programs (such as schools, libraries, rural healthcare organizations, government agencies/entities, etc.) are not eligible to participate in the program. Customers who pay for qualified products or services with taxpayer dollars or government funding/grants/reimbursement programs (such as schools, libraries, rural healthcare organizations, government agencies/entities, etc.) are not eligible to participate in the GVTC Friends & Family Referral program. GVTC employees who earn commissions for acquiring new customers are not eligible to participate in the program. Requires the purchase of at least one new qualified service (internet, streaming television, security, or phone) as a direct result of a referral submitted through the GVTC Friends & Family Referral Program. One gift card is provided for each sale, not for each product or bundled item. Only one gift card is provided per household, per sale. Visa® gift cards expire six (6) months from the date they are claimed/issued; any unused funds remaining after expiration are forfeited. Participants may make unlimited referrals and receive one gift card per household for each successful referral that results in the sale of a qualified product or service. New customers must retain service for at least 30 days. Rewards are subject to federal income tax, and GVTC will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC to the participants annually if they receive $600 or more in a single tax year. Other restrictions may apply. The Friends and Family program may be modified or eliminated at any time.
