Jonathan Babbitt
Jonathan Babbitt serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for GVTC, where he leads the company’s strategy across sales, marketing, customer lifecycle engagement, and communications. In this role, he is responsible for aligning how GVTC connects its network investment to sustained member growth, customer value, and long-term market competitiveness.
Mr. Babbitt focuses on building a coordinated commercial approach that strengthens market presence, improves customer acquisition and retention, and increases adoption of GVTC’s services. He works cross-functionally with product, finance, business development, and customer operations teams to align market demand, customer experience, and expansion planning, helping position GVTC to compete effectively in an increasingly dynamic broadband environment.
He also leads the evolution of GVTC’s sales organization toward a more consultative, relationship-based model and advances marketing’s role beyond promotion to include lifecycle engagement, retention, and ongoing member communication. His approach emphasizes the use of data and analytics to support informed decision-making and disciplined, long-term growth.
Mr. Babbitt serves as executive liaison to the GVTC Foundation, supporting its mission to enhance the quality of life in the communities GVTC serves. He is also actively involved in the broadband industry through his work with the Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association and NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association.
Prior to joining GVTC, Mr. Babbitt served on the executive team at Matanuska Telecom Association (MTA), where he led enterprise-wide initiatives that increased broadband adoption, revenue, and market share.
Mr. Babbitt holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
