Josh Johnson

Josh Johnson serves as Vice President of Accounting and Finance, where he leads the cooperative's financial operations and long-term financial strategy. He oversees accounting, treasury, investments, and financial planning while working closely with the executive leadership team to support sound financial decision-making, maintain strong financial controls, and position the organization for sustainable growth.

Mr. Johnson joined GVTC in 2010 as a Financial Analyst and advanced through a series of finance leadership roles before joining Oracle, where he spent eight years in progressively responsible finance positions. Most recently, he served as Senior Finance Manager, leading financial planning and analysis for large-scale technology operations and supporting strategic planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, and business performance.

He returned to GVTC in 2024 as Director of Finance, where he partnered with executive leadership on financial strategy, capital planning, and enterprise performance. Throughout his career, he has focused on aligning financial strategy with business objectives through disciplined planning, investment analysis, and performance management.

Mr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Howard Payne University. He was recognized with the GVTC President's Award for developing an innovative forecasting model that strengthened the cooperative's long-range financial planning capabilities.
