Scott Hitt

Vice President – Customer Operations

Scott Hitt serves as Vice President of Customer Operations, where he leads the cooperative's customer operations strategy, service delivery, and operational performance. He works closely with executive leadership to strengthen execution, enhance the customer experience, and support GVTC's long-term strategic objectives.

Mr. Hitt joined GVTC in 2025 as Director of Customer Operations, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in technology, operations, sales, and program management. Throughout his career, he has led operational and growth initiatives across a broad range of industries, including telecommunications, defense, aerospace, medical devices, and homeland security.

Prior to joining GVTC, Mr. Hitt held executive leadership roles with startup, turnaround, and high-growth organizations operating in domestic and international markets. His experience includes developing global supply chains, establishing manufacturing operations in East Africa, and leading organizations through periods of growth and transformation. He is recognized for utilizing a customer-focused approach, innovation, and strong communication to build operational excellence, sustainable growth, and lasting business relationships. 

Mr. Hitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas.
