Roger Lewis
Roger Lewis, Vice President of Product Management & Business Development at GVTC, is responsible for managing the profitability, strategy, and growth of GVTC’s broadband, cable TV, voice, and smart security products for both residential and business customers. He also oversees business development in the wholesale ethernet access division.
Mr. Lewis is focused on delivering connected, innovative, and secure home solutions. His efforts have led to the consistent provision of top-tier broadband and Wi-Fi services, advanced smart security products, and comprehensive CATV services, ensuring that GVTC meets and exceeds customer expectations.
Mr. Lewis brings over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with the last 19 years spent at GVTC. During his tenure, he managed Accounts Receivable, the Service and Support Center, and Business Operations before advancing to lead the Product Management team in strategy and product launches.
Additionally, Mr. Lewis has played a key role in GVTC's Business Operations by implementing Operational Excellence and Six Sigma techniques, which have driven ongoing process efficiencies, automation, and a standard of excellence. He was also a key member of the team that evolved GVTC into a customer-centric company, focusing on the Six Principles of Customer Experience to create fiercely loyal customers.
Mr. Lewis's contributions to the industry have been recognized through his service as Co-Chair of the BMMA Board of Directors (2019-2021) and his tenure as Vice President of The GVTC Foundation (2008-2013). He has also received GVTC’s President’s Award for his outstanding achievements.
Before joining GVTC, Mr. Lewis held various roles at Nii Communications, a start-up CLEC provider, where he managed Customer Service, Billing, and Credit & Collections. Mr. Lewis began his career as a certified interpreter for the Deaf and holds an associate degree in applied science from San Antonio College.
