Geri Browne is a director for GVTC from District II. She is a current member of the GVTC long range planning and safety committees.
Mrs. Browne and her husband Douglas, and daughter Ashley have lived in Spring Branch, Texas for the past 15 years. Since graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center with a degree in Dietetics, she has gained over 26 years of experience working in the healthcare field. She started her own business specializing in nutrition care consulting for rehabilitation centers in the San Antonio area and the Hill Country. She enjoys helping her clients stay in compliance in today’s changing health care environment.
In addition to serving on the board of GVTC since 2016, Mrs. Browne was an executive board member for the Smithson Valley High School dance team booster club. She has also assisted Comal ISD with development on the long-range planning committee. As an active neighbor in River Crossing neighborhood, she organized National Night Out in partnership with Comal County Sheriff’s office. In the past, she has served as president and board member for St. Paul Lutheran Day School in Bulverde and as treasurer for the San Antonio Dietetic Association.
Outside of work and volunteering, Geri enjoys exercising outdoors, reading, and traveling.
